Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines for Manuscript Submission

Thank you for considering "STEM Education Indonesia" as the platform for your research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. Before submitting your manuscript, please carefully read and adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Manuscript Preparation:

  • Ensure that your manuscript aligns with the focus and scope of the journal.
  • Follow the provided [Manuscript Template] available on the journal website for formatting.
  • Manuscripts should be submitted in English.

2. Manuscript Structure:

  • Title: Clear and concise, reflecting the main theme of the research.
  • Abstract: Provide a structured abstract (maximum 250 words) summarizing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of the study.
  • Keywords: Include 3-5 keywords that capture the essence of your research.
  • Introduction: Clearly state the research question, objectives, and relevance of the study.
  • Literature Review: Provide a comprehensive review of relevant literature.
  • Methodology: Describe the research design, participants, data collection, and analysis procedures.
  • Results: Present findings with clarity, using tables and figures when appropriate.
  • Discussion: Analyze and interpret results, linking them to the research objectives and existing literature.
  • Conclusion: Summarize key findings and suggest implications for practice and future research.
  • References: Follow the APA citation style (7th edition) for in-text citations and the reference list.

3. Submission Process:

  • Manuscripts should be submitted through the [Online Submission System] on the journal website.
  • Include a cover letter introducing the manuscript and affirming that it is an original work not under consideration elsewhere.

4. Peer Review:

  • All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure quality and scholarly integrity.
  • Authors will receive feedback and may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments.

5. Ethical Considerations:

  • Declare any conflicts of interest or funding sources.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards in research involving human subjects or animals.

6. Copyright and Licensing:

  • Authors retain copyright of their work, but the journal holds the right to publish and distribute accepted manuscripts.
