Jurnal Kajian Peradaban Islam (ISSN 2654-3974 - JKPIs - translated to Journal of Islamic Civilization Study) is motivated by lack of Moslem-spiritual values to understand the contribution of Islam to the development of many scientific disciplines for modern civilization. Hence, JKPIs attempts to integrate such kind science disciplines to Islam as a way of life on the modern civilization. For this purpose, JKPIs is designed as a unique peer-reviewed open access on-line scientific international journal that provides an interdisciplinary, national, international and interfaith forum for scientist from any discipline areas.

JKPIs is published by Penerbit Sinergi Mandiri Bandung in Collaboration with Perhimpunan Intelektual Muslim Indonesia. It encourages reflective thinking and progressive working on modern Islamic civilization. In addition, JKPIs welcomes interfaith scholars to actively join, as we believe that the development of Islam is important for the world society, regardless of the ideology.

The scope of Jurnal Kajian Peradaban Islam are:

1. The theoretical or empirical studies about the application of Islamic and Sharia concepts in many disciplines including social science, economics, politics, natural science and technology, law, etc.

2. The analysis of failures due to the ignorance of Islamic principles in many disciplines including natural social science, economics, politics, natural science and technology, law, etc.

3. Exploring the evidence of the Creator (Allah) contributing significant development to the Islamic civilization.
